Once again, Your TV20 has been recognized for environmental friendly business practices by the Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) administered by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. It’s the second WRAP Award for Your TV20 in the last three years, and this year Your TV20 is proud to be one of five companies, state wide, to receive the board’s highest honor of WRAP of the Year.

We congratulate this year's 149 WRAP winners and invite all to join in the effort to Reduce Waste and use Sustainable resources. Here are some easy ways YOU can Reduce Waste and Green Your Business:

REDUCE
  • Reduce paper waste by sending correspondence electronically when possible
  • Make Double-Sided copies and prints
  • Reduce energy waste by turning off equipment when it’s not being used
  • Set computer monitors to sleep mode after being idle after a few minutes

REUSE
  • Use the backs of already used paper in fax machines or as scratch paper
  • Invest in Reusable Plates, Cups and Utensils or Use Biodegradable ones

RECYCLE
  • Recycle Paper- not just printer paper, but newspaper, magazines and envelopes (even the ones with windows can be recycled)
  • Recycle glass, plastic drink bottles & printer cartridges
  • Compost coffee grounds and filters, food scraps and paper cups

REACT
  • Switch to 100% Recycled Paper
  • Switch to Compact Fluorescent Lights
  • Switch to Renewable Energy like Solar or Wind
  • Switch to Non-Toxic Green Cleaners
  • Offer Fair Trade Coffee
  • Encourage Ride Sharing and Post Public Transportation Schedules
  • Purchase a Carbon Offset
