Join the supporters of the San Francisco Zoo for March For The Penguins!, our first one mile fundraising walk-a-thon, on May 31st. All walkers will enjoy the unique experience of visiting the Zoo before the doors open to the public. Your registration and fundraising efforts will help support the Zoo’s animal care, conservation efforts and education programs. All registered walkers will receive a T-shirt, a “goodie” bag, free entrance to the Zoo on the day of the event, and an invitation to the post-walk private party filled with entertainment and an educational expo! The post-walk party will feature delicious, healthy, and traditional beverages from around the world courtesy of Adina World Beat Beverages and featuring the biodiesel African inspired Adina Bus.

But don’t stop there! Reach out to your friends and family to sponsor your walk, and with every additional $50 raised above your registration fees, you will receive a raffle ticket for the Grand Prize – a Behind the Scenes Tour for 6 at the San Francisco Zoo! In addition, the top three individual walkers who raise the most funds, AND the two top fundraising teams, will have a commemorative tree planted in their honor! This small grove of five trees will be planted in collaboration with Friends of the Urban Forest in our awards ceremony immediately following the walk. We will send you information on fundraising when you register.
