Television personality Lesley Nagy gives viewers a dose of news and information for a greener lifestyle. She hosts and produces the daily "Your Green Life: Minute" and weekly "Your Green Life" shows on YourTV20. From efforts made to reduce greenhouse emissions to profiles of people making a difference, Lesley focuses on positive strides being made by cities, corporations, organizations and individuals to ensure the sustainability of the planet.

In addition, Lesley is a spokesperson for YourTV20's public service campaign, "Your Green Life," giving tips on how everyone can make healthy changes for the environment. "Your Green Life" airs in San Francisco and 8 other markets: Buffalo, Binghamton, Detroit, Duluth, Fort Wayne, Fresno, Peoria and Syracuse. Lesley is also a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists.

Prior to "Your Green Life," Lesley was the entertainment reporter for the "Daily Mixx" and "The Mixx." She often traveled to NYC and LA, interviewing celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep for new movie releases. Lesley is also a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.

A native of Michigan, Lesley graduated with honors in broadcast journalism from Michigan State University. She studied environmental reporting and was active in the Society of Environmental Journalists during college. Lesley enjoys cooking with organic foods, driving her hybrid and practicing bikram yoga.

Lesley Nagy's Personal Green Tips:

  • Recycle. Don't just toss everything into the garbage, it's just as easy to pitch recyclables into the blue bin -- it's truly the best habit to get into!


  • Eat organic. Organic farms don't use conventional pesticides so they are more sustainable and environmentally sound. I also believe it helps you stay fit because you won't be tempted to buy as many junk foods.


  • Do Yoga. A healthy planet starts with a healthy you. I do Bikram yoga for exercise and to de-stress. It helps me relax and keeps me in shape at the same time.


  • Use Green Power. Contact your electricity provider and ask to sign up for their green power program.


  • Watch "Your Green Life." Hey you knew I was going to say that. Of course I'll help you find even more ways to go green, so check out the shows daily and on the weekend!
