Brendan Moran
Meet Your Green Life co-host, Brendan Moran. As host and producer of Your Green life, Brendan does everything from giving tips on how to live a more eco-friendly life to profiling interesting people trying to change the world.
Before hosting Your Green Life, Brendan spent a year traveling abroad, learning about new cultures and capturing them with his video camera. While producing travel videos in places like Turkey, India and Brazil he witnessed firsthand some of the eco-challenges facing those countries and the world. Breathing in a mouthful of exhaust in Delhi showed him the rest of the world, as well as the US, has a long way to go. Don’t feel too bad for him though, as he spent a large chunk of his time lying on a Vietnamese beach. Prior to his whirlwind trip around the globe, Brendan worked as a roving reporter for G4TV covering everything from “Star Trek” conventions to something called “The Geek Prom.” Brendan has produced numerous television shows for TechTV and the Travel Channel, including “The Best Places to Find Cash and Treasures." An Illinois native, Brendan graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in broadcast journalism, and has lived in the U.K., Washington D.C., Colorado and Southern California. When he’s not working, Brendan likes to read and train for marathons, running up and down the steep hills of San Francisco (just not at the same time). |
